Code of Conduct
Parent Code of Conduct
Parent & Spectator Code of Conduct
At Rush Wisconsin Southeast, we believe the environment around the field is just as important as the training on it. Players learn not only from coaches, but from the behavior of the adults who support them.
We expect all parents, guardians, and supporters to help create a positive, respectful, and encouraging atmosphere for every player, coach, official, and spectator. The club will uphold these standards consistently and fairly. Violations may result in disciplinary action in accordance with the Rush Wisconsin Southeast Rules & Policies.
To support our players and the values of the Rush Way, we ask all families to follow these expectations:
1. Lead by Example
Win or lose, demonstrate sportsmanship and positivity. Encourage effort, teamwork, and growth while supporting all players on the field.
2. Keep the Sidelines Positive
Remain calm and respectful at all times. Negative behavior, confrontational actions, or inappropriate language do not belong at practices or games.
3. Respect the Officials
Referees play an important role in the game and deserve respect. Please do not question or confront referees during matches. Any necessary communication should come from the coaching staff or the club.
4. Let the Coaches Coach
We ask parents and spectators to avoid giving instructions from the sidelines. Allow players to focus on the guidance provided by their coaches and enjoy the game.
5. Show Respect for Opponents
Treat opposing players, coaches, and supporters with respect at all times. Celebrate great play from either team and help create a welcoming soccer community.
6. Promote a Healthy Environment
Smoking, alcohol, or other substances are not permitted during practices or games. As role models for our athletes, we encourage healthy habits both on and off the field.
7. Support Player Preparation
Help your player succeed by ensuring they arrive on time, prepared, and properly equipped for training and matches.
8. Follow Field & Sideline Guidelines
Parents and spectators should remain on the designated spectator side of the field. Only rostered players and coaches are allowed on the team sideline before, during, and after games.
Together, we create the environment where players can learn, compete, and grow — the Rush Way.
